Forgive my smile,
She didn’t intend to hurt you that night.
Forgive my tears,
If they hid until you weren’t anymore near.
Forgive my voice,
If she was strong enough to pronounce the last words.
Forgive this young girl,
If she one day trust, forgive her, lord.

Forgive my breath,
If I faced your cruel farewell, and then took some fresh air.
Forgive the letters,
Just forget the “I love you”s on every sentence
Forgive my glossy lips,
It’s not their fault, they truly felt every kiss
Forgive this young girl,
She just dared to love you, sir.

Forgive me, now that my heart doesn’t allow me to
Forgive everything that one day I gave to you
Forgive what I will never forgive….
But please, remember, forgive me, sir.
Forgive me, lord.
