Pass By.

by Daphne Darling   Aug 2, 2006

These moment's pass on by,
And I'm not really there,
I think I'm drifting further,
I have no idea what's happening,
What's this time or place?
I'm not sure I understand,

But I'm still right here,
And it's not even real,
Scream my name,
And call me back again,

These thoughts drift in a void,
Hopeless and all alone,
I'm not shedding tears,
Because here is where I'm not,
Is it further to the south?
Am I still alive today?

But I'm still right here,
And it's not even real,
Scream my name,
And call me back again,

Forget again what I said,
That was just a cover to my name,
A way of escaping,
A way to drift and forget,
Maybe it's not working,
And maybe I'm alone,

But I'm still right here,
And it's not even real,
Scream my name,
And call me back again,

A sad drifting nomad,
You eyes hold no soul,
Somewhere out there,
I'm still standing by your side,
But here I'm not real,
And not even coherent,

But I’m still right here,
And it's not even real,
Scream my name,
And call me back again.
