Focus

Put it up to pull it down
Turn that smile into a frown
Breathing out and let it go
Hardly striving, hard to know
Think you're out? You're staying in
They say they care until you win
Shadows dancing on the wall
Imitating all your faults
Shouting, putting out a whisper
Not admitting that you missed her
Hearts not broken just by lovers
Crying sisters, lonely mothers
Hard to say you know for sure
When your days all start to blur
Creeping closer towards the edge
Slip and fall, you wake up dead
Breaking promises and hearts
Reach the end, go back to the start
You can't fail until you try
Looking failure in the eye
Selling out and just plain sold out
This is not the time to hold out*
