Missing Brendon

by AllHailTheHeartbreaker   Aug 9, 2006

However much you're missing me
I'm sure it's nothing like this
My mind replays all those times
your smile, my thoughts, every kiss.

Will you be my memory
if only for tonight?
Something to keep me warm
'til tomorrow's light.

You kept this secret so well
so much that I envy your self-control
I suppose living lies was just too much
insincerity took it's fateful toll.

I'm still recylcing my memories
to keep you with me a little longer
You might have a thicker skin
but my will is stronger.

I kept waiting for you
and you did nothing for me
I cried there in the rain
and you weren't even there to see.

I'll keep you on my mind
I'll pray for you every night
You forget me and I'll miss you
if only to keep my hope in sight.

I keep looking for answers, but
nothing will explain the rush you left in
I hate it here without you
I bet you can see me from heaven.
