Being Goth is not an Illness

by FrozenTearsBleed   Aug 9, 2006

Being Goth is not an illness,
That you think can just be fixed,
Nothing wrong with my genes,
Nothing abnormal was mixed.

Im no broken,
I am like you I swear,
NOthings wrong with me,
Dont you people care.

Being Goth is not an illness,
Its really not,
How could yuo say this,
I laugh at the very thought.

We are perfectly normal,
We shed the same blood and tears,
Yes we are different,
But what do you all fear.

Being goth is not an illness,
CAuse being yourself is good,
Everyone should try it,
If you could see its fun you would.

**This is my fav. poem, its me!**

Great poem! I know exactly how you feel because I'm am being treated the same way too... I get strange stares all the time from my classmates and society... But just be yourself, the rest doesn't matter... This poem expresses pent up emotions that anyone feeling the same way could relate to... Great job! :)
