Small drop of heaven

by arunima gautam   Aug 10, 2006

The rain drops fall over my face, concealing the tears welled up in my eyes,
No, I am not afraid anymore of anyone, seeing these constraints holding me inside.
I believe I have freed my heart, my soul of this tiring race within,
I am content in my small drop of heaven, reveling in the scent of your memories.

This silence is what I yearned for all these times, it's the bliss of an eternity,
And as my tears slowly transformed into white smiles, I dwelt in its intensity.
Never for once I felt I was stripped naked of my truth,
In this small drop of heaven, I found my religion in you!

I have been thirsty, walking a thousand miles with the mirage of this love,
Not once my footsteps turned back, as I kept on moving with a gaze fixed above.
Sometimes a heavy heart and some other times a wounded soul,
Living on this small drop of heaven, I became a complete whole!

It's a peaceful abyss, a deep stretched fantasy of a life I always dreamed,
I relish the very sight of this truth, an engaging myth so beautiful and mystique.
It's my truth I live deep inside, an eternal flame that enlightens my life,
And blessed with this small drop of heaven, I am gonna traverse this tyrant time!
