Moment

Behind that one soul, traversed a world I have,
No, its not long enough but only one moment of devotion.
The ways converge, dilutes the periphery of distance,
Engaged in those dreamy eyes I find my existence.

Walking miles and miles, no sign of restraint,
In your happiness measure I the resplendent joy in my life.
Those steps taken, beneath the soil craves in affection,
Just for one second, it found the meaning of this lost emotion.

Never gave up these eyes, fixed over the path promising your arrival,
No matter where this presence of yours remains, I follow you.
This smile I am, that just slipped round that corner of your lips,
Lost someway behind that applause, and in the noise that dips...!

I am a moment of paused wonder, blink and you loose me,
That one second of trust, one small bit of flash that assures.
Behind your back, entwined in your racing thoughts,
Lay my essence, the trance of love, embracing all you want!
