Into the Flame

by cass   Aug 12, 2006

I put it down
And lit it up
The flame burnt bright
My eyes it took
My soul it soared
Around the flame
I tried to fight
But then became
Drawn into peace
Among the heat
Of love that i
Don\'t want to beat
I see my world
Within the flick
Of all the flames
Across the wick
It draws in dark
And leaves the light
The night is swapped
With loving sight
So i can see
The man i wish
Could love me more
And leave a kiss
Upon my lips
And never part
To hush the ghosts
Inside my heart
He does love me
But theres a ban
To be with him
The best i can
He\'s always there
But never here
This poem ends
A tear he\'s near
His burning eyes
Just like blue flame
They pull me in
We kiss again
