Forgive me for falling

Stupid little girl
who tries too hard.
she's never going to get anywhere
whit that broken heart.

she hides from her friends,
she broke a promise again.
she's falling;
she let the others win.

she told her friends she'd make it.
she was strong enough
she'd go against the odds
she'd stay emotionless and tough.

but she lied.
she fell once again
she broke a promise
& was never forgiving.

all she did was apologize
for not holding on.
she couldn't help giving up
she didn't have the strength go on.
