Those Flashbacks

As I remember the unpleasant and think
Without warning, flashbacks come in a blink
My mind dwells on past moments
It turns into all those anger and envy torments
Whether humilitated, disrespected, or left out
Those flashbacks trigger my darkness all about

It's sad because all I feel
Is either nothing or anger and envy
Like I'm not at all human
Perish is destiny
My demons haunt me day and night
Those flashbacks leave my human side in fright
I fight my dark self with all my might
If I fail, my heart will lose it's light
