Your Beauty Shakes Me

by Sarah Ann   Aug 15, 2006

Why does it always seem
Like my power fades away
When you're around there's everything
Yet still not much to say
As tongue betrays my heart and soul
I die another day
And once again...the millionth time
I watch you walk away

Sorrows flood and storm my mind
My insides fall apart
Because it always seems, alas I see
You will forever have my heart
Unconditional love controls me,
Infatuation takes it's part
It's painful, and I am in great fear
You are a masterpiece, an art

And I can't carry on the colors
The life in you I cannot keep
So many secrets overcome us
And my scars bleed in too deep
I'm overwhelmed from loving you
Beneath skin my pain does seep
At night your beauty shakes me
And my heart refuses sleep
