Aphrael Returns

by sally   Aug 17, 2006

In this place
You will take flight
And run today,
A sacred fight.

Aphrael stops
To catch her chest
She hates the way
you act impressed.

With a battle to
envy Ragnarok,
Justified with gold
lead on a rock.

Aphrael cries
at her grave
the ritual makes
her misbehave

Green leaves
turn to red
and you're going
to be dead

By the time
Aphrael dries
her bleeding
brown eyes.

Children with
Guns or choices
silencing their
own voices

watching this lesson
too painful to learn
Aphrael cries,
why did she return?
