Voices of the Silence

by BrokenMisery   Aug 19, 2006

Lie awake at the raven's call,
It's elixir on my lips.
To stand up is to fall
My Dutch courage thrips.

I lost balance in your arms,
You took my two feet off the ground
(only to watch me fall).

Downfallen in the breakdown,
Left eating from your hands
The silence left to whisper
Your dirty little plans.

Tears of the conclusion
I'm the rusted dirt in your nails,
As I lie curse to the delusions
That places my soul for sale.

And I lost balance in your arms,
You took my two feet off the ground
(only to watch me fall).

Downfallen in the breakdown,
Left eating from your hands
The silence left to whisper
Your dirty little plans.

A gun loaded
Gives voice to the silence
Once more.

Sweet and sour revenge
Soaked on your breath,
The trigger's pulled, to fingerprint death

As I fall blood-soaked from your arms.

Wow...This was very dark and sinister... Very nice, the way I love it. Now, this isn't your best simply because it didn't have as good flow as the rest of your poems did...But it was still very well written. Nicely done.
