A Grandmothers Love

by FELTON PHILLIPS   Aug 20, 2006

She was blessed with wisdom and grace
A twinkle in her eye and a smiling face
Sometimes she would give you a little advice
Just what you needed to brighten your life
If you needed a hug or something to eat
Grandmothers house could no be beat
But God had a plan we could not contest
He called our dear grandmother home to rest
She is now at peace in heaven above
But still in our hearts we carry her love
A love in which we took such delight
Dear grandmother, dear grandmother we now say goodnight
Goodnight not goodbye is what we shall say
Dear grandmother, dear grandmother, we will meet again someday.
