Finding Myself

by FELTON PHILLIPS   Aug 22, 2006

To lay bear my hopes and desires
To put a match to the smoldering fires
Fires that dwell within my soul
Fires never allowed to grow cold

I must seek my destiny
To become the person I want to be
I must open my eyes and really see

I must see what's there, be it good or be it bad
Whether it brings me joy or makes me sad

I must shrug off this illusion , look into myself, so at last I will know who I am.
