A Different Kind of Hero

by Corey   Aug 22, 2006

He wanders through the land
Of places past and gone
The memories of old
An artist already drawn

A man who stands alone
No companions here to trust
A broken sword across his hip
Its edges blood and rust

Shunned from all the world
A disease contained inside
His reflection on the water
Disfigured by the tide

Across the vast deep sea
To islands far away
He'll redeem himself
And fight for freedom's day

Not your best, but it isn't THAT bad. Mind me, I become harsh at times. The flow was horrible, in my opinion, as was the hold it is SUPPOSED to have on the reader. I forced myself to read on. Better luck next time. 3.8/5

No worries, I don't actually vote on the voting thing, I just say what I would vote.
