The Thief

There beneath the earth lies a creature who is so evil that he has no name but "The It" everyone has met him at least once in there life when feeling despair, depression
and extreme sadness

It lies in wait to steal your heart and soul and doesn't care if your young or old sick or weak

It goes in your dreams while you sleep oh, so peacefully waiting to take that chance of last minute peace

It waits to take that chance to steal your heart and mess up your life....thats his lives dream is to make sure everyones life is like Its

Few survive Its wraith and anger at above earth life and fewer still get their life back after "The It" has touched them

    This was a pretty good poem, the only problem I see with it is the fact you called the creature "The It", but referred to it as a male. You wrote 'He', so it basically defeated the purpose of the name" I understand what you are writing about, but change either the name of the creature, or refer to it as 'IT'. Good poem though.
