My Razor, My friend

by Twisted Heart   Aug 23, 2006

Tiny razor, young friend of mine
Our two hearts are intertwined
I slowly place you at my wrist
And there you give me a little kiss.

Crimson wine falls from your edge
Silent Steel, to you I pledge
Forever true my love shall be
Embraced for all eternity.

The crimson wine drips in the sink
Pure porcelain, who needs a drink
And as it splashes on the floor.
I spread my wings, and I soar.

Above the cloud, I'm flying high
Among the stars that pass me by
I see my life ahead of me
I know that I will soon be free.

Tiny razor, young friend of mine
You made me see, when I was blind
Forever true, you gave me help
You did for me what I couldn't do myself.

Though the whole "cutting" poetry is so played out on this site, I enjoyed this. Especially these lines:

"Crimson wine falls from your edge
Silent Steel, to you I pledge"

"The crimson wine drips in the sink
Pure porcelain, who needs a drink"

Well done! Keep it up...Love ya~Holly

To tell you the truth i'm not much of a fan of cutting poems and razors, but i will say that i think you did a good job with it. it had a wonderful flow to it and you presented this topic in a way that i didn't mind reading it. well done!
