Dear so-and-so,

by David Paul   Aug 23, 2006

Suppose I never met you, and never knew your name.
Suppose I never said hello, expecting you to do the same.
Suppose I never gave you hugs, and never gave you a call.
Suppose I never ran around, to find you in the school halls.

Suppose I never became your friend, and gave our lives a start.
Suppose I never thought of you, to heal my broken heart.
Suppose I never held your head, and never kissed you under the moonlight.
Suppose I never took the chance, to lose a friend post that night.

Suppose I never wanted you, and never tried to make you mine.
Suppose I never had butterflies, and gave someone else all my time.
Suppose all I can do is sit here, and wait for you to come to.
Suppose for once you loved me, half as much as I love you.
