Whats in it for me?

I see how these girls are getting their heart broke
Left and right
I see how they struggle with the after feelings
Crying at night

So I’ve always been scared to love
What’s in it for me?
My heart is so soft and can’t afford to fall apart
Can’t you see?

But here comes my prince on that white horse
Everything I’m looking for
The man of my black and white dreams
What I need and more

What’s it in for me?

Love,
Something I’ve never been through
Purity,
Something we’ve both committed too

Happiness,
Smiles that are different from the normal
Dates,
Where my beauty shines dressing so formal

Kisses,
That have never crept on my lips
Hugs,
Oh those hands I desire on my hips

Dreams,
That are shared between you and I
Comfort,
Your my tissue when I cry

Cuddles,
While we’re together and by ourselves
Frames,
Holding our pictures on the shelves

What’s in it for me?
More than I can imagine….
More than I deserve…
