What It Means

by Chris Rodriguez   Aug 26, 2006

The track left me a ticket at this station,
Not going to live my life as an imitation,
The rain we used to run in,
Never thought these memories would begin,

I think I knew myself better before,
Wind is always calling me to a new shore,
Are these people real or is it just a metaphor,
You sold yourself to them settling an
old score,

My friend the great truth stater,
Freedom is in his second nature,
Time runs going to the next gig,
Come on let's go we got to get big,
The man tells you to come to,
Can't bite the hand that feeds you,
Break through the curse of repetition,
Show your soul to every single nation,

Giving hope for those on the rebound,
Tears fall,
The generation looking for the new sound,

Facing the fist,
The people I miss,
Ever stop to think that I'm alive,
Destroying the fist,
Did you know it's you I miss?,
Ever stop to think I need someone just like you?,

Here comes the melancholy phase,
To be hated or loved,
The difference isn't far apart,
I just wish I could tell,
Is it wrong for me to know you?,
Should be more careful of what I say,
Because from where I am it's going to be a long day,
Finding my way,

Sugar rushes out of the cut,
Trying to do things with my eyes shut,
Raise your signal to the ones who need,
A joke to you can make them bleed,
Listen to the nature that feeds you,
More than just a walk through,

That person you see dieing on the floor,
Help him up,
It's what this life is for,
People think I can't see,

You just don't know how much she means to me.
