Suicidal Generation

by Chris Rodriguez   Aug 26, 2006

A reflection in the mirror tells nothing at all
You see yourself as you want to be
All good things on earth are put in places
too hard to reach
When found by mortal men
It is lost and becomes unholy again
It goes on and on

A forgotten face is never won again forcefully
desperation is a temporary solution
all breakdowns can be cured only if
You trade your sanity
But when the fear is gone
You are found and become whole again
It goes on and on

When the lights go out
You're useless again
She said it was nothing
But the truth found it's way out
The way you make me feel, it's contagious
Whats wrong with our suicidal generation?
Hell if I know
Is it just me or are things getting worse?
We're alive so that's worth fighting for

It comes rushing in...pain
Your defenceless and...stained
Try to escape...afraid
All you want to do is...fade

I need more than a wave goodbye
Listen to what I say
Don't trade yourself away to follow a twisted crowd
If you forget which way to go
Listen and hear that familiar voice
To get home, to get home
