I just woke up

I just woke up
Mom asked what’s up

I want to go back to sleep
But the dream was very deep

Family friends and everyone were there
It told me that there is something to be aware

On my mom's look I knew he died
But she tried to hide

Now I am lonely and depressed
I wish my life would be reversed

Just one more minute is all I need
I know someday again you will lead

But this day for today
I know things would be different from everyday

You were just here, alive
You are dead, without you I wont survive

I woke up I realized it wasn't a dream
Grandpa someday again we will be a team

    Oh, so sad... it sounded like one of those punky/gothic type depressive poems that most teams write these days (me included :-)) but when I reached the end, it changed from Avril Lavigne-style lyrical writing to...something deeper. Much sadder, filled with meaning, in those simple words. So sad.

    The first poem I've wrote is inspired by a dream, it was long ago though...
