Lies like truth

by Midnight Sun   Aug 27, 2006

With each passing lie
It became easier to forget the truth
I was blinded by your words
Each one delivered so smooth

This imaginary life you created
In which you starred
Left us all mesmerized
But now leaves us with scars

We've shed tears for your dark fate
And more are sure to fall
But with each day they're less and less
And maybe one day there'll be none at all

But for now we hope and pray
That you'll see the danger of this path too well trod
And understand it does not belong to us
To direct our feet in which they should walk

This really shows the pain of losing someone you love, yet they don't act like they truly care and yet you still hold hope. good job!
