Crashing Mask

by Catastrophic Beauty   Aug 27, 2006

Constant tears are falling from her eyes
Trying to put on her mask, her disguise
But she can't hide her pain any longer
It is fighting back strong and stronger
It's the time now to release all her cries

Tears are flowing now without stopping
Drip drip drip, they can't stop dropping
And she knows she didn't make a mistake
And that was by letting her shield break
So many tears, it's time to start mopping

While mopping up the very last splash
All her problems blow away like ash
She finally has gotten what she wanted
To find relief, in this world so haunted
All because she had let her mask crash

It was suppose to be a limerick but then it didn't really follow how a limerick was suppose to go..so yea, enjoy:D

This is one of those calm sad poems that I like. It's pritty simple, got a good rhythem, flow, rhym screme, plot. Good job. My mind started to falter in the secon stanza, but not too much.

I'm thinking kind of slow today, so I apologise for a not-so descriptive coment. :)

Wow...this was amazing! I especially liked the first stanza. Definately a 5/5

And thanks for the comment...I know I haven't written in a while. Mainly because my computer crashed, but also because I haven't been able to write how I feel lately..

But hopefully I'll have more quotes for you to read. I'm glad you enjoy them =]
