Dust Of Death

Utter darkness surrounding me
No light like how it used to be
No moon and no stars in sight
Just blackness on this cold night

As if paralyzed without sense
With just the feeling of suspense
I stand still slanted to the side
Hoping my body won't collide

As I fall down to the ground
Blind and hearing no sound
Tasting the sour taste of death
And releasing my last breaths

Recalling words never said
They're left just like me, dead
No burial nor cremating, just
Being blown away like dust
