Mummy Is Having A Baby

by Tom Cheriyan   Aug 29, 2006

Mummy's having a baby,
I overheard daddy telling Granny.
Mummy has been sick a lot,
Must be a nasty bug she caught.
She seems to be tired a lot,
No strength to play with us,
Looks like she has lost the plot.
She drags herself to school each day,
Must be the new shoes she got for her birthday.
Often we find her on the sofa asleep,
Or long hours in the bath,
No time for a cuddle or goodnight kiss,
As to bed we quietly creep.
What I dont understand,
Is daddy doesnt seem to mind,
Mummy's new behaviour, he is kind.
I don't mind if mummy has changed,
As long as the baby loves to play and don't complaint.
