Step Into Another's Shoe

by Tom Cheriyan   Feb 6, 2007

Why is it so hard
To step into another's shoe,
I feel my feet is stuck,
Entrenched in my point of view.

I have to spend time,
Studying why I'm stuck,
Spot the type of glue,
With a bit of luck.

Days have gone by,
As I have pondered,
Scratched my head,
Puzzled, bewildered.

Even before I've heard
The other's point of view,
My mind says 'No, no,
Hear mine too.'

Why is it so difficult,
To step into another's shoe,
Perhaps you can help me.
Please would you?
