A Passer By

by Tom Cheriyan   Aug 29, 2006

My muscle twinged,
'Twas my left thigh,
My heart cringed,
Whispering a sigh.
My fingers moved,
Feeling my muscle,
To cry or not to cry,
In pain or in joy,
As I saw a one-legged,
Girl on crutches,
Slowly passing by.
