My daddy that i loved once ago..

With all the love i have i write to you with a song in my heart and a flower by my side.. i write to you..

i fell to the ground that day, not knowing what to do or where to go.. my daddy left me and my mommy behind..

the sun setting over a cold house with only us and not you in it.. id look at photos and remember how it felt to see you in the morning light..

the stories you would read me.. and when id cry you would hold me tight and say.. don't worry its ok.. now your gone..

my daddy i once had is gone.. the one i would walk with on the beach.. the one i would talk to about my dreams, my tragedies and wishes for him..

id look at the clock and would wonder what he is doing right now.. why he left and where he is.. is he smiling is he crying is he afraid like me.. i missed you so much at times..

you held my hand through ugly, bad and sad times.. little did i know it.. when i was but ten.. that you were the cause of me being so sad..

id blame mommy for all the things that would go wrong in life, for me being sad, mad, ugly and feeling fat.. for all those things i blamed mommy.. while it was you..

daddy I'm happy now.. I'm happily standing on my own two feet.. I'm standing and nothing can bring me down.. but please daddy i want you to be happy too..

forever i will remember when id fall asleep in your arms.. and wake up with a smile on my lips.. daddy for that i thank you, for that i will always love you..
