Conversation With a Spider [Funny]

by Twisted Heart   Sep 3, 2006

I was looking out my window
One sunny afternoon
When I saw a spider in the tree
Acting really blue
I asked her what her problem was
And when she looked my way
She said she got so tired
Of spinning ever day.
She said she spins and spins her web
But before she gets it done
The squirrel that lives in the tree
Runs through it just for fun.
Then he turns and laughs at her
As he merrily skips along
Leaving all her hard work
scattered on the lawn.
What to do, she asks of me
I tell her she's in luck
Next time he tries to break her web
Go crack all of his nuts.
