Calling Daddy's Name

by BeautifulxMess   Sep 3, 2006

Hey daddy. It's me.
Your first daughter,
the one you never see.

Daddy, do you care any
more? Daddy, why haven't
I've seen you walk
through the door?

Daddy, I do still love
you, but you don't
know what I've been
through.

You act as if I don't
exist. Do I matter
anymore? When you
visit you don't give me
a kiss.

Daddy, why haven't you
called? Why haven't
you sent me a card at all?

Dad, why am I calling for you?
I don't know why, but i miss you.

Daddy, I'm all grown up,
but still I need a Dad to
stay tough.

Daddy, do you see me cry?
Do you see the pain I
had to hide?

Daddy, do you know
about what your wife did
to me? Do you know how
much she hurt me?

Daddy, answer me! Tell me
if you want me anymore.
Tell me if i should stay
or get up off the floor.

Daddy! Listen to me! Show
me you care, do you see me?!

Daddy, you're hurting my
heart. You don't tuck me
in at night, or chase monsters
that come out at dark.

My closets full of nightmares,
but you're not there to
run your fingers through my
hair, and sing me to be
while rubbing my head

Daddy, listen as I call our
your name. All it will show you
is all my pain.
