Today Is The Day

Today is the day
the day that i die,
For once and all I'm going to
leave this life called a lie.

As i write the note
my last goodbye,
The tears run down
my cheeks as i start to cry.

I write that I'm sorry
and beg them not to cry,
I tell them that i love them
and to my friends i say goodbye.

I sign it with love
and seal it with a kiss,
My friends and family
I'm surely going to miss.

I put the letter on my bed
where they are sure to see it,
As i have a last look around
my room for a bit.

I pick up the blade
and cut my arm,
The blood starts to come out
as i cause myself harm.

There's no turning back now
the blood has all come,
I'm sorry everyone
for this thing i have done.

I cry my last tears
and breath my last breath,
As i finally get what
i wanted.. Death.
