Ignorance Pending

by President Dead   Sep 3, 2006

I light this match,
And put flame to ground,
His grave sparks up,
A wonderful sound.

The grief he caused,
The hate he bred,
All diminished,
With a blow to the head.

The flame burns high,
With the greatest of ease,
The stench of his flesh,
Would make your soul freeze.

A pillar of smoke,
Plagues the night sky,
It marks my sin,
Resembles a lie.

Murder in cold blood,
That would be the charge,
That would be my trail,
If I were at large.

No one will notice,
His absence or mine,
Him forever,
Me for a time.

A pale moon hovers,
Above all sight and sound,
The only witness,
He wont be found.

Black cloud drifts,
Above the flame,
It has brought rain,
To seal my imfame.

Bullets of water,
Pelt down from above,
Him I hate,
Her I love.

The flames fade out,
And by feat of chance,
What's left is ash,
No matter, or lance.

His blood on my hands,
His ash in the air,
He had it coming,
My warning was fair.

    Hmm.
    Its had a great theme.
The rhythm was a bit scratchy but we have good and bad days.
