Tribute to Steve Irwin

by Echelon Eric   Sep 6, 2006

He filmed many creatures
On many occassions He put his life in danger
He studied their behaviors, habits, and features
Whether it was the common, vicious, or endangered
He always put his life at stake
Not every one has guts to play with a deadly spider or snake

But one day he came across a frightened stingray
He was pierced with a barb, into the heart
Just like that, he went away
After his chest and the barb came apart

Such a tragedy for every fan
He was a brave and gifted man
God lifted his soul
So even in Heaven he will play his Croc Hunting role

I wasn't a viewer often, nor a big fan of thee
But I hope to see you in Heaven Steve, and say "Crikey!"
