The cycle of my life.

Feeling suffocated back into the shadows
A far away place I thought I had escaped
My past haunts me now more than ever
Realizing I've made a lot of mistakes

This hole I thought I got out of
Is sucking me back in
Filling my heart with disappointment
And reminding me of my many sins

You would think one would learn from their mistakes
But not one as naive as myself
Over and over and over again
Not knowing if this cycle will ever end
