Insanity

Mirrors capture rays of sun,
As it spills into your eyes,
I want to stay forever,
But I have to keep these lies,

I want to cry when you smile,
Because it'll never happen now,
I know it but I haven't heard,
But it won't no matter how,

Your heart is in another's hands,
Who'll crush it into dust,
The wind is ice and she is cold,
To survive I know I must,

I will not fall I cannot lose,
I have to stay this sane,
Wind is piercing through my eyes,
As I scream through window pane,

I fake a laugh to be forgotten,
In the grasp of time and loss,
Goodbye to you, forever friends,
With these tears that slide and gloss.

    Awe, very strong message. Very sad message as well.

    "Your heart is in another's hands,
    Who'll crush it into dust,"

    I loved those lines. They truly captured the feeling of someone having to watch someone that they love be loved and love in return, someone who they deserve so much more than what they are. 5/5 =]
