The Lady of the Gloom

by xTheEcstasyOfSuicidex   Sep 10, 2006

I really didn't like how this turned out... I'll probably rewrite it later on, but this is what I have for now. Tell me what you think.
---------------------------------------

Shining green and silver moon,
Over the Lady of the Gloom,
Strike out, test her there
Across the lands so fair.
Gold and silver shining face
Looking at you with a dreading haste,
Saddened forgotten look of doom
For this Lady of the Gloom.

A picture painted across the sky,
Showing the Lady to defy;
Let go of your heart, dear Lady,
Throw it in the gloom so shady.

Show us how you died that night,
Without a thought, without a fight.
Tell us how you died under the moon,
My dear fair Lady of the Gloom.

Standing tall and standing fair,
Looking out to the land with no care;
Poor Lady of the Gloom
Sprinkling over the thoughts of your doom,
Let your heart go and outwardly cry
As the Lady of the Gloom silently dies.

    It was pretty good... a little too shoppy for my tastes but still good none the less
