My Room

Crimson red walls,
replicas of the Chucky Doll.

Posters of my favorite bands,
pictures of me and him holding hands.

Empty cans of hairspray,
piles of CD�s, the only things that get me through the day.

Memorabilia from sold out concerts,
a closet full of my favorite band shirts.

Studded belts hanging from the door,
my fluffy white cat laying on the floor.

A shoebox full of old letters and notes,
a drawing of Vampires wearing long black coats.

My green god, Diddley sitting on my nightstand
along with a few poems I wrote while I was sitting in the sand.

A stack of old notebooks,
my favorite sweatshirts hanging on hooks.
