Infinite

The delusion of infinite shakes in doubt

Hold me tight, don't let go
Yet, you didn't come back today
Wet your lips, make your fingers dance
Who are you being held by now?

I thought the telephone rang
But I was only thinking, only of you
I want to believe in lies, and love you
If you'll let me

The delusion of infinite shakes in doubt
The memory that tonight invited me too

You didn't notice the scar, the night you left
What dreams do you see?
The sigh is split in the middle of the heart
Is it stronger than anything, and you can't get it back?

I was given a lying kiss,
Thinking only of you
Tonight wont flow, wont run
Of your heart, forever

The delusion of infinite shakes in doubt
The memory that tonight invited me too

Wandering, resting
Hands running through my hair
Delusions run recklessly and it doesn't stop
I don't need anything, nothing at all.
I just need something, to come back to me

The delusion of the infinite trembles in doubt
The memory that tonight invited me to
Delusion subtly trembles

^^ That is two of the best sentences in the poem. I likes the flow and emotion you put toward this poem. It was very well written. Nicely done, Victoria. I hope to read more.
