Your pain...

by Tom K   Sep 11, 2006

I saw you crying in the hall
and didn't know what to say.
If only I could have held you
then took all your hurt away.

My heart was so full of sadness
to see you in such pain.
To watch your lips tremble
and tears fall like lonely rain.

If only I could lovingly wipe
each falling teardrop away.
To touch your kind loving heart
and assure you of a better day.

Then hold you close to my chest
wrapping you within my embrace.
Within my loving arms you'll feel
all your doubts and fears erase.

Oh Beautiful woman, whom I love,
my tears fall freely for thee.
Let not your heart be troubled,
when in need, just lean on me.

For I will be solid as a rock,
always faithful to what you need.
I will be there forever, always,
your most loving friend indeed.
