Blue Eyed Moon

by Michael   Sep 13, 2006

The darkness
The insanity
and through it all you shine
A world engulfed by anger and insanity
A beast within trying to break free of his shackles
Growling inside as the anger builds
It builds and soon begins to take shape
The hatred grows and comsumes me
I fight to stop it and only manage to slow it
When I hear your voice the beat retreats
My anger subsided tempoarily
The blue eyed, and brown haired moon my black night sky
A ray of hope in an otherwise shattered world
Saving me from myself
Stoping me from continuing my daily drink
Helping me to ensure I don't repeat history
Not even the clouds of friendship can stop me from seeing you
Nothing makes me desire to cease being with you
A black road now visible
The darkness no longer as overwhelming
Anger caged
A beast tranqulized
