Eden?

by Sondos   Sep 13, 2006

As snow does to a fire
God will pierce the light
And pour scalding love on each skull
Splash of colour into sight

Flight among the beads of love
Jewels have lost their ties
Curves of backs are hemmed with wrong
For we have sinned before His eyes

In violet pools where stars do sleep
Their world not yet scarred
By seas of souls drowning
In a filthy veil of tar

And if it were to snow rose petals
And hurricanes were to feed
The hungry and the starving
I'd pluck an apple from my seed...

I liked the imagery you had used in this one as well. But, I did get a little confused. But, overall, it was really well written and I enjoyed reading it. 5/5 =]]

This poem is based around the Genesis Story and the desire for perfection. I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it :)
