Why should I care
About some one who's always there
Ready to tease and taunt
Aiding every negative thought
Some one who makes me block out
Emotions that inside seem to shout

I end up slow when I react
When I forget to stay detached
Then I realize what I've done
A dreadful reaction to his fun
Giving power to the words
I pretend I never heard

I'm fine when I don't think
About the weaknesses he seeks
I know they are not there
And with that knowledge I slow the tare

But how long can you survive
With a needle in your eye
With each blink pushing it in
And your mind focused on the win
The only chouse is to keep going
Hoping the problem is not showing
