You called me up yesterday,
And told me something new
You looked into my eyes,
And said, "I don't love you anymore..."

I fell aback and I wondered
How ever could this be?
I thought we'd be together
For all eternity.

You cried upon the vision,
Of my never ending tears
You couldn't understand the pain,
That you have caused me here.

I asked to hold you once more
You said it wasn't wise
"Why tease yourself with emotion ?"
"It wouldn't make things right"

I asked for one last kiss,
I fell down to my knees
I begged you with the tears in my eyes,
"Baby please... please, don't leave."

You turn your back and left me
Drowning in my tears...
Swimming in my sorrow...
Reminiscing of what was here.

You didn't turn to see me
Although I screamed your name
You didn't even try to see,
The heart that you caused pain

I called you up the other night
You hung up twice on me
The third time you said;
"Leave me alone, I told you, I don't love thee"

So sorrow was my comfort
And tears were my best friend
And I slowly came to realize
That our love is at an end.

The heartache still lingers,
I'm tired of this pain,
Your little childish mind games,
Have caused my heart such pain...

Sometimes i often think about you
But, my life then turns to gray
So, I turn away my sorrow
To the brightness of the day.

The sun will shine upon me
And wash my face with light,
It's no longer your smile
That illuminates my night.

The wind will blow upon me
Not the softness of your breath...
It will soothe and comfort me,
Not make my heart face death.

I gave you all I ever was
And all that I could be
But, somehow it wasn't enough
And you had to leave from me.

I've found the sunshine in my life,
I've found my smile once more,
I wish you all the best in life,
Cause it's my turn to walk out the door.

and thank you for the good times
And yes, even the bad...
I still love you...
But the love's just not like "that."

I'm grateful for the smiles,
The arguments and tears,
You made me a stronger person,
