I take after you

by catherine   Sep 19, 2006

We may not talk,
But we shall always laugh.
We may not show our feelings,
But we do love one another.
We may sometimes fight,
But that's understandable.
For I take after you,
Stubborn but kind.

I cannot remember everything,
But I remember lots with you.
I cannot always be at home
But then again neither can you.
I cannot do anything,
But I can do something.
For I take after you,
Stubborn but kind.

You may sometimes get angry,
But that's always alright.
You may laugh to everywhere be heard,
But it shows that your happy.
You may not tell us your history,
But that's your choice.
For I take after you,
Stubborn but kind.

Remember this last sentance,
For I take after you,
Stubborn but kind.
But never forget it.
