Single Teardrop

by Twisted Heart   Sep 19, 2006

A misty pool forms at the corner
Of her sadden and somber blue eyes
A heartbreak that isn't near healing
Brought on her by his hurtful lies.

A single teardrop falls so freely
Down a cheek red and swollen with grief
She lets it carress her soft skin
And end at her lips with relief.
