The raging moster within

by Zoe   Sep 21, 2006

You take it, and take it until something inside snaps
an ugly monster of pain and rage breaks free
from the prison within from which youve held it so long
back with a wrathful vengance made especially for you
it hides quietly within waiting for the right moments
when you can't take another ounce of emotional pain
and when no one is around it comes out and rears its ugly head
tempting you. teasing you, taunting you, until you cave in
and reach for the knife, slowly cutting into your own flesh
watching the precious ruby colored blood flow from within
slowly bleeding all your built up fears and pains out
,
and the monster subsides, hidind deep within
waiting for another painful day, to torment you
