What We're Meant to Be

by Layla   Sep 23, 2006

She is me today
She's standing in my shoes
There's nothing left for me to gain
She's got nothing left to lose

She's so far away
She's a daydream with a name
I have my own mind games
But I fear we're just the same

She only speaks in Riddles
I'm distinct in what I try to say
I can't help but feel two opposites pulling at me inside my head
That's the way we're supposed to be

She walks with proper posture
As I fall down the stairs
She always shows her manners
While, me, I tend to scare

She's always so cheerful
She's always got a smile
There's nothing that could make me happy
So excuse me so I can die a while

Yet it never makes andy sense
I have all I could want
She's poorer than any being
And this, she's happy about

But we cancel out each other
we meet right in the center
But before you call us average
You've obviously not met her

And sometimes each of us slip through
Because we change from day to day
We share everything, body and mind
We have the very same name

Aren't they both so lovely?
The different sides of me
This is what I am
What we're meant to be....

(A/N- OK, so this one's about basically how people say that I have two different personalities that tend to switch around a lot.)
