The more you talk
The more people can see
How dumb you truly are

The quieter you become,
The less people listen
The easier you fade away

I bet if I asked
if anyone knew me
I'd get only a few replies

And when I bother to say just a word
no one responds
so it would be pointless both ways

I see others like me
they don't try to blend

People ask why-
why we don't speak
when all that needs to be said
Is pouring out of the others mouths

A constant stream of nonsense
surrounding and suffocating
yet bouncing of the silence
radiating from myself

I watch and I listen,
but no more do I speak
And this is something
I'll never regret.
